Follow the Shoreham Creative Pink Plaque trail this weekend

From today until Sunday 17th September,  The Shoreham Society is celebrating its creative community members who inspire participation in the arts during Heritage Open Days. Why not pop down to Shoreham and follow the pink plaque trail around the town centre and over the Adur Ferry Bridge to learn about these influential “Community Creatives.”

Scan the QR codes on the plaques with your smartphone to watch videos and discover more about these impactful individuals such as Dave O’Connell who has given many young people the opportunity to play in bands since 2008 with his Shoreham Allstars initiative,  a non-profit Community Interest company.

You can pick up a map and information leaflet at Tomfoolery café or The Tap House to guide you on the plaque trail – or download one from the Pink Plaque web page (link below).

If you are unable to get down to Shoreham in person, you can view all the videos from the comfort of your own screen from the links in the Community Creatives Pink Plaque web page.
