Findon nestles at the foot of the South Downs just five miles north of Worthing and the coast and 30 minutes drive south of Horsham. The area is also within easy reach of London with trains from Worthing taking approximately 1 and a half hours.

Findon village is a typical Sussex village with a post office, village shop, local butchers, an estate agency, two hairdressers, three hotel’s/B&B’s, a primary school and several excellent pubs and restaurants. The village also has its own Fire Station and Parish Church although it is now separated from the church by the A24 bypass.

Behind the village square is a small green with a much larger green located a few minutes walk along the road at Nepcote (pictured left). Once a year in September the Nepcote green is the site of the Findon Sheep Fair and Village Festival.

The area is ideal for walking, riding and cycling with many excellent (although hilly!) routes to explore.

Findon Valley is just 5 minutes drive south of the village, which is more built-up with a greater choice of shops along King’s Parade including several estate agents the Valley also has a library, doctors surgery, vets, dentist, The Vale school, two good Indian restaurants plus a popular Chinese take-away and a post office.

Findon is just one of the places covered by the free Sussex Local magazine delivered by hand, by local people, every month. The Findon edition of the magazine not only covers the village of Findon itself, but also the following surrounding villages:
