Time to cast your vote for young people’s services in Horsham District

Horsham residents are being asked to cast their votes to help young people’s provision in Horsham District.

Horsham District Council launched its new People’s Budget funding scheme in June 2024. Some £100,000 funding is being made available to local charity groups and community organisations wanting to focus on activities and initiatives that support children and young people under 25.

As a first step, local charities and youth provision groups submitted activity proposals for the under 25s in a bid to secure funds from the new scheme. Some 15 successful applicants for funds have now been announced by a panel of council officers and the lead Cabinet Member.

These funds will now be distributed in line with the results of a public vote, ensuring residents can decide how funds are used for priorities that matter most to them.

The public vote is now open. You can vote from now to midnight 10 November.
