In celebration of The Ivy in the Lanes’ first birthday on Tuesday 7th May, the brasserie hosted an exclusive carnival-themed party in the heart of Brighton.
Regular guests, business owners and residents alike headed to the brasserie for an exciting evening of live music, flowing cocktails and entertainment, which included everything from fire eaters and drummers, to winged dancers.
Guests also enjoyed a series of mouth-watering canapés, including seared scallops with red pepper tapenade, tempura prawns with matcha tea sauce, and many more, alongside two cocktails created exclusively for the restaurant’s first birthday; The Lanes Hurricane – made with 7 year old Havana rum, grenadine and fresh orange juice, and the Abeja Cooler – which featured Cazcabel honey tequila and lemon juice.
In further celebration of the restaurant turning one, guests dining at the brasserie on Thursday, 16, 23 and 30 May will be able to enjoy carnival-inspired entertainment and music from 7pm. Resident DJs will be performing on each Thursday evening, whilst guests will also be able to enjoy The Lanes Hurricane (£9.00) and refreshing Abeja Cooler (£8.50) on Thursdays throughout May.
