Support for Arundel residents during Covid-19 pandemic

The Town Council has worked to gather information from some of these local organisations to share with residents what help they can offer in light of the Coronavirus pandemic.

St Nicholas’ Church

The Church has a team of volunteers (some of whom are DBS checked) ready and willing to provide support.

The Baptist Church

Reverend Steve Lomas will be sending a pastoral letter to all of his church members each week.

The Cathedral

The Cathedral has had offers of help from parishioners who are visiting the housebound, if anyone needs help please let them know on 01903 882297.

Age UK West Sussex, Brighton & Hove

The charity will provide phone calls to help those self-isolating combat loneliness, and will begin offering to collect and deliver medication or groceries.

Food Services

Larkins (01903 883694) and Mace Express (01903 885655) will take telephone orders for collection by a friend or volunteer.

Pallants will take telephone orders and deliver (01903 882288).

The Co-op will have extra staff to cope with the demand and will stay open for their usual hours. They encourage residents to visit www.co-operate.coop.co.uk for information on how you can help your local community during this time.

Crossroads Care South Central continue to uphold their mission to provide support to carers during this very difficult time and can assist you if the person you care for lives in West Sussex or parts of Hampshire.
