Come to the launch of the West Sussex Crowd!

Do you have a great idea to improve your local area?

Come and find out about crowdfunding and the West Sussex Crowd!

A launch event taking place on Wednesday 9 May from 5.30-7pm at St Paul’s, Worthing.

Community groups and individuals and others wanting to find out how to crowdfund – or back projects – are invited to come along. Free tickets to the launch event can be booked here.

The launch will be an opportunity to learn about the initiative, hear from successful project creators and meet local funders.

Crowd funding is a new way of funding community projects that has launched in West Sussex. The West Sussex Crowd is a crowdfunding platform where groups looking to raise funds and gather support, can post their projects.

Debbie Kennard, West Sussex County Council Cabinet Member for Safer, Stronger Communities, said: “This is set to be an absolutely fantastic event and is the perfect opportunity for anyone interested becoming part of the West Sussex Crowd to find out more.

“I’m really looking forward to hearing all about exciting new ideas for community projects.”
