The timeless tale of Robin Hood is now showing on stage as Worthing’s Christmas Pantomime at the Pavilion Theatre. Running until 5th January
Starring Nigel Clarke (from CBeebies) as the charming Robin Hood, Janine Pardo as the beautiful and feisty Lady Marian, Paul Giddings as the hilarious Dame Delia, Darryl Carrington as the lovable Will Scarlet, Worthing Panto favourite Katie Pritchard as the ever-musical Alana Dale, and Darren Clewlow-Smith as the dastardly Sheriff of Nottingham.
Expect well-choreographed dance numbers and strong singing from the cast along with the usual ‘dire dad jokes’ and plenty of audience participation. Stand out performances from Nigel Clarke as Robin Hood and Paul Giddings as Dame Delia as well as Katie Pritchard, cute as a button, with her powerhouse voice.
We loved the costumes – especially Dame Delia who looked more wonderfully outrageous in every act – and enjoyed the unexpected circus performances. The obligatory set pieces are dusted off for another year as Robin and his merry band outwit the evil Sheriff of Nottingham.
