AudioActive can confirm that Chief Executive Adam Joolia will be stepping down in late August, following his appointment as the new Chief Executive Officer of Youth Music, where he will begin in September. Adam has led AudioActive for nearly two decades, helping to grow the Sussex-based charity into a nationally recognised organisation creating social change through music and supporting the journeys of many talented young artists.
Adam will remain with AudioActive over the coming months. He and the team are working closely with Trustees on a smooth transition. A process to appoint Adam’s successor will begin in due course.
Adam says: “Despite a challenging backdrop for the youth, community and grassroots music sectors, AudioActive is thriving and in a strong position. I feel this is the right time to pass the baton to fresh leadership, with the organisation well placed for its next chapter”.
