Team Guncast take on Race the Sun

This spring, the Guncast Pools and KLAFS UK Wellness team is stepping up to a major challenge for a great cause.

On 25th April 2026, team Guncast and KLAFS UK from across the business will take on Race the Sun South Downs 2026, an endurance event set against the dramatic clifftops of the iconic Seven Sisters on England’s south coast. The Team will bike, hike and paddle their way across the landscape, racing not just each other, but the clock.

So why this event?

It’s a local charity in aid of Action Medical Research for Children. It is a meaningful charity close to the teams’ hearts, and it also allows the team to reignite a long-valued tradition: completing a team challenge in support of charity. Taking part in this event, also reflects the wider ethos of the Kohler family of brands, including the KLAFS Group, to which Guncast belongs, a commitment to giving back and supporting community initiatives.

The goal is to raise £6,000; a cross departmental team will be taking part including Dave Williams the Residential Operations Director, Russell Landy the Commercial and Financial Director, Beth Luckett Sales and Marketing Executive, George Willis the Design Project Manager and leading from the front is CEO of KLAFS UK (Guncast Pools and Wellness) Andy Carr.

Additionally Jack Harding, original owner of Guncast, is joining the team for this special challenge.

Together, the team are ready to push themselves, support a great cause, and make this a standout moment for Guncast and the KLAFS group in 2026.
