The We Love Dogs National Dog Show is coming to the South of England Showground on 7th and 8th February 2026, offering an exciting weekend celebrating dogs of all shapes, sizes, and backgrounds. Packed with live demonstrations, expert talks, interactive activities, and extensive shopping, this event promises a fantastic day out for dog lovers, families, and friends alike.
Across both days, visitors can enjoy a full programme of live training and performance displays. From spectacular dancing dog routines and agility demonstrations to scentwork, gundog, and sheepdog showcases, the main rings are filled with entertainment and education. Professional trainers will demonstrate essential skills such as recall and loose-lead walking, while behaviour specialists offer practical advice and answer audience questions, helping owners build stronger, more confident relationships with their dogs.

Competitions, education, shopping & more!
We Love Dogs is also hugely popular for its charity-driven competitions. Highlights include the Charity Fun Dog Show and Pedigree Dog Show, each with over 20 classes, with all proceeds donated to charity. Other favourites include the Owner and Celebrity Lookalike Competition, Dog Agility, Dogs Have Got Talent, Flyball, and Gundog Displays.
Education sits at the heart of the National Dog Show. Breed clubs and welfare organisations will be on hand to provide insight into responsible dog ownership. Visitors can meet rare and native breeds, chat with knowledgeable owners and experts, and learn about rescue and rehoming initiatives. Charity partners will also be present, offering information, fundraising activities, and opportunities to meet dogs whose lives have been transformed through rescue work.
Younger visitors are well catered for too. Interactive workshops, storytime sessions, and hands-on activities will keep children engaged, while dog-themed games, talent contests, and “have-a-go” sessions encourage kids and dogs alike to join in the fun.
Shopping is another highlight, with a wide range of traders offering everything from handmade coats, leads, and harnesses to enrichment toys, accessories, and gifts. Leading dog food and nutrition brands will showcase fresh, raw, natural, and subscription-based options, with experts available to discuss individual dietary needs. Cat owners aren’t forgotten, with specialist natural cat food brands also exhibiting at the show.
Health and welfare remain a central focus, with live dog first aid demonstrations daily and informative talks on supporting anxious or reactive dogs. These sessions aim to give owners the knowledge and confidence to keep their pets safe, happy, and well cared for.

Beyond the canine attractions, the National Dog Show delivers a vibrant festival atmosphere. Visitors can enjoy a wide selection of street food and drinks from around the world, while live music and compere announcements keep the energy high as attendees explore the rings, stands, and attractions.
