About the Reindeer

The reindeer that visit Squire’s come from long-standing reputable organisations with experienced handlers who look them after with loving care and respect. The reindeer are either born in the UK or are rescue animals and the organisations that are used specialise in educating and informing people about these beautiful unique creatures and their natural habitats.

The reindeer that visit Squire’s don’t have far to travel. They are carefully transported in specially designed trailers, which give them ample space. Once the reindeer arrive, they are given plenty of time to settle, are kept in a quiet area outside, and are given regular breaks during the day.

At the farms, the reindeer spend the majority of the year roaming freely on acres of land. They are very well fed with an appropriate diet and have regular vet checks throughout the year.
