Permanent Jewellery West Sussex

Permanent Jewellery: the latest innovation in jewellery.

Permanent jewellery offers effortless and delicate style, with no catch! Having grown in popularity in the past few years, permanent jewellery has become the latest innovation for jewellery. Taania Wood runs her business, Permanent Jewellery West Sussex, where she fits these pieces of jewellery from her studio in Thakeham. Taania very kindly invited me to come and learn for myself what goes into fitting these lovely pieces.

So, what is it?
Permanent jewellery is custom-fit jewellery: bracelets, anklets, and necklaces. These delicate chains are measured to fit you perfectly then joined seamlessly with a tiny welded-jump ring. There’s no more struggling with clasps or a dangling chain; your bracelet sits perfectly. This can be a great solution for people who struggle with dexterity, as well as for people who like to keep their jewellery on all the time. The delicate chains come in both sterling silver and gold-filled links, in a range of designs. You can even have a charm added to the bracelet to make it even more unique to you.

How long do they last?
It can last you months, or even years! This can depend on the style of chain you use and your lifestyle. While the welding is secure and the chain won’t hang loosely, take care not pull it.

How would I remove it?
Even though they’re called ‘permanent’, these bracelets are easy to remove. All you need is a pair of nail clippers or small snippers. If you cut through the welded jump ring, you can save your bracelet and book to have it re-welded at any time in the future.

How can people find out more and book their own appointment?
