The Pride LGBTQ+ Community Parade will take place on Saturday 3rd August and is one of the undisputed highlights of the Brighton & Hove Pride Festival weekend and is a glorious showcase of the city’s charities, community groups and small businesses as well as our invaluable blue light services and statutory partners.
As we celebrate the 50th anniversary of the 1969 Stonewall Inn uprising that ignited the Pride movement, our theme ‘Generations of Love – Celebrating 50 years of campaigning with Pride’.
Applications for the 2019 Pride Community Parade are now open. Places will be allocated on a first come first served basis with priority given to our local charities and community groups as well as previous parade participants.
Our rigorous Parade Standards will maintain the integrity of the community parade and ensure that floats and entries from business partners or brands support and celebrate Inclusion & Diversity or the achievements, culture, and aspirations of those belonging to their LGBTQ+ networks and to celebrate all our communities.
