New Plant Fair at Parham this July

Fresh from medal success at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, the nurseries of the Plant Fairs Roadshow will host a brand new event at Parham House & Gardens on Sunday 6th July (12-5).
Parham is one of the country’s finest Elizabethan houses, set at the foot of the South Downs in West Sussex. Originally owned by Westminster Abbey, Parham was granted to Robert Palmer by King Henry VIII in 1540.

A hardy group of forty-three independent nurseries, from across ten counties, make up the Plant Fairs Roadshow, a collective of specialists who take their plants on the road to some of the greatest horticultural establishments in the south east.

Seventeen nurseries will attend the plant fair at Parham including nationally recognised favourites like Hardy’s Plants and Chelsea Flower Show favourites The No Name Nursery in Sandwich Kent run by Steve Edney and Lou Dowle.

Moore And Moore Plants from Billericay in Essex will be at the plant fair this July. Lynne Moore who runs the award-winning nursery collected her fourth consecutive gold medal at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show this May for her shade-loving plants. Of her Chelsea medal this year, Lynne said “ We were absolutely thrilled with our 4th gold medal. This one really means a lot. To also get a cultural certificate for the Dactylorhiza fuchsi was also very special.”
