Kidscape Launches ’40 Stories’ Campaign to Mark 40th Anniversary

UK anti-bullying charity Kidscape is proud to announce the launch of its “40 Stories” campaign, a key initiative celebrating its 40th anniversary. Kicking off the campaign is a powerful interview with best-selling children’s author Chris Bradford, best known for his Young Samurai series.

The interview, produced and directed by Brighton-based production company Friday’s Child, explores Bradford’s own personal experiences with bullying and how these challenges shaped the stories he now shares with young readers.

In the heartfelt conversation, Bradford opens up about his journey through bullying, offering valuable insights into how he overcame adversity. He reflects on how these experiences influenced his writing, particularly his Young Samurai books, which resonate with young audiences and provide empowering narratives for anyone facing similar struggles.

The “40 Stories” campaign aims to amplify voices from across the entertainment, sports, and public sectors, giving individuals the chance to share their own bullying stories. By doing so, Kidscape hopes to spark important conversations about bullying and raise awareness for the vital work the charity continues to do in schools, communities, and beyond. This Call to Action is crucial in helping Kidscape to continue to help those who need it.

This campaign is a powerful reminder that no one is alone in their struggles with bullying. Through these shared stories, we hope to inspire others to speak out, seek help, and show that bullying can be overcome.
