Worthing based jewellery brand Jana Reinhardt has launched a crowdfunding prize draw to raise urgent funds for a winter shelter at Surge Sanctuary in Nottingham.
To celebrate its 20th business anniversary, the ethical jewellery brand is inviting supporters to enter a £2 prize draw, with all proceeds going directly towards helping the sanctuary complete its much-needed barn.
The project will provide a safe, dry shelter for rescued animals during the harshest months of the year – including residents like Roo, Jamie and Jack, who rely on the sanctuary for lifelong care after being rescued from neglect and the farming industry.
As part of the campaign, entrants have the chance to win one of three of Jana Reinhardt’s best-selling hummingbird jewellery pieces, with a total prize value of £920:
🥇 1st Prize: A one-off 9ct solid gold Tiny Hummingbird Necklace, featuring a reclaimed diamond in a handmade flower setting (worth £650)
🥈 2nd Prize: A larger sterling silver Hummingbird Necklace with optional engraving (worth £160)
🥉 3rd Prize: A pair of sterling silver Hummingbird Ear Studs (worth £110)
Entries cost just £2 each, and supporters can enter multiple times. Winners will be selected at random on April 12th.
By entering, supporters are directly contributing to the construction of a vital shelter, helping protect vulnerable animals from cold, wet conditions.
A spokesperson for Jana Reinhardt said: “Animal welfare has always been at the heart of what we do. In the last 5 years we’ve created 13 different jewellery pieces to support 13 different animal charities and have raised over £20,000 for them. For our 20th anniversary, we wanted to give back in a meaningful way – and supporting Surge Sanctuary felt like the perfect fit.”
Those unable to donate can still get involved, with the brand also offering a chance to win free entries via its Instagram. Supporters can enter the prize draw and learn more here:https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fundraising-for-a-winter-home-for-rescued-animals
