You’ll see on the homepage that the website is split into different sections to help you find what you’re looking for.
* I want some information and advice – click into this section and you’ll see the information is separated into different categories. You’ll find advice and information on health and well-being, money matters, being a carer, different conditions and disabilities and much more. There is also an ‘easy read’ section which provides information in an easy to understand format.
- I want to find things to do locally – clubs, support groups and activities where you can learn a new skill, meet like-minded people in your community, and keep active. You can search what’s on in your local area and find things according to a particular condition/category such as learning disabilities, support for carers, physical disabilities, health and well-being and much more.
- I want to buy products and services – visit this section if you are looking for specific equipment or aids to help you stay safe around your home and carry out every day activities. If you are not sure what you need, take a look around our Equipment House where you can go from room to room and discover the help that’s available. You can also purchase different services such as respite care.
- I want to find out about social care support – you can complete an online assessment which you can use to help you plan and buy your support.
