Avian Influenza Update

West Sussex and indeed most of England has been very fortunate not to have been inundated with bird flu cases in domesticated birds this winter.

Whilst there are currently no cases in domesticated birds in County,  there have been two separate recorded cases in wild birds in recent weeks.    Bird flu has not gone away, we have just been fortunate so far – and of course the good biosecurity practices of bird keepers has also played it’s part.
