The fantastic community of Haywards Heath really got into the groove last Friday for the Mayor’s 80’s Charity fundraising night at the Town Hall.
The Mayor of Haywards Heath, Cllr Stephanie Inglesfield, welcomed everyone to the fun evening, thanking Sponsors Pembroke Financial Services and TaxAssist Accountants, as well as the numerous organisations who had donated fantastic prizes for the Silent Auction and Raffle to help raise further funds on the night.
Guests were treated to delicious retro 80’s food from Mid Sussex Catering and thoroughly enjoyed tucking into dishes including Chicken Kiev, Beef Stroganoff and Pineapple upside Down Cake. They played nostalgic 80’s games from Island Inflatables including Pac Man, Mortal Kombat, table football and giant Connect Four! Guests were also stunned by the brilliant close-up magic from local magician Adam Smith.
Them guests danced the night away to class 80’s tracks impressively performed by Sussex based Hot Damn Function Band, including hits from Wham, Madonna, Soft Cell, Duran Duran and more!
Town Mayor of Haywards Heath, Cllr Stephanie Inglesfield commented:
