Library joins Arundel Festivities

A special art exhibition will be taking place in Arundel library as part of the Arundel Gallery Trail (18 – 27 August).

Artist Susie Olford will be exhibiting her work which uses oils and acrylics to depict moods of land, sea and weather.

The showcase will be available to view from 2pm to 5.30pm weekdays and 12 noon to 5.30pm weekends and Bank Holiday Monday.

In addition, Arundel Library is open Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 9.00am, offering further opportunity to explore the exhibition.

This year marks 30 years of the Arundel Gallery Trail which is part of the Arundel Festival.

Local historian, Mark Phillips, will also be visiting the library where he will give an Arundel Festival talk (Tuesday 21 August, 10.30am) on the history of Arundel High Street using maps and a selection of images from his personal collection. Tickets cost £5 and are available from Arundel Library, Surrey St, Arundel BN18 9DT.
