Kids go free at Amberley Museum this half term

From 14th-15th & 18th- 22nd February, children can benefit from free entry to visit Amberley Museum when accompanied by a paying adult. Visitors should pre-book their tickets online at www.amberleymuseum.co.uk, choosing the ‘Complimentary Ticket’ option for the children who are visiting free of charge.
Amberley Museum is well-loved by families of all ages for its wide array of interactive exhibits and hands-on activities. From a ride on the narrow-gauge railway to making a call on an old-fashioned telephone, and from creating a print in the traditional print shop to exploring the chalkpit nature trails, there is plenty to do for all ages and interests. This February half term they’ll be celebrating Communication in all its forms, to tie with 100 years since the birth of television and 150 years since the invention of the telephone.
Visitors can join in the celebrations with a family trail and themed craft activities to make a hand-held communication device.
There’s also a chance to get creative with on-site craftworkers. On Thursday 19th February, the West Sussex Woodturners will be running have-a-go sessions while, throughout the week, you can join the museum’s resident potter to unleash your creativity with clay. There is a small charge for materials for these activities.
Amberley Museum is open Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, from 10am-4.30pm.  Sited just north of Arundel, there’s easy access to the Museum by car or by train, and with plenty of indoor spaces and a warm and welcoming café. Please note ‘the Kids Go Free!’ Offer is limited to visits on dates within February half term only (14th & 15th, 18th-22nd February 2026).
