Gemma and Stella Stevens are the identical twins who make up Worthing’s artistic duo Two Faced Twins. Known for their trademark contemporary style, colourful collaborations and unapologetic boldness, Two Faced Twins create coastal scenes, landmark landscapes and statement art available across their limited edition prints and homeware ranges.
The pair collaborates on every piece of artwork they do. Stella hand draws each initial illustration in ink before Gemma gets to work on adding colour through digital manipulation and hand painting in extra details.
Founded in 2017, Two Faced Twins are already famous for their Sussex scenes including the iconic piers and landmarks of Worthing and Brighton. The pair recently launched new artworks, including scenes of Eastbourne Pier, the Sycamore Gap tree and High Salvington Windmill. Each limited edition print comes in a variety of sizes and is available framed or unframed. The homeware range comprises glass coasters, place mats, chopping boards, cushions, greetings cards, deckchairs and umbrellas.

Sussex Local have a framed limited edition print of the new artwork Salvington Sails – a modern and bright depiction of High Salvington’s almost 300-year-old windmill – to give away to one lucky reader. The 41 x 33cm (framed measurements) artwork comes with a certificate of authenticity to prove it is one of only 190 prints made. The winner can choose the colour of frame from the range available.
Stella said: “When drawing the windmill, I enjoyed the challenge of showing movement. I’m really pleased with the result and love how Gemma has made the windmill pop against a bright pink and blue sky. It shows how this much-loved landmark is as relevant today as it was when it was built in the 18th century.”
