Bexhill Carnival week long celebration

Bexhill Carnival is taking place next month for a packed week of events, thanks to the generosity of a community focused broadband supplier and a team of volunteers.

Launching on Saturday 23rd July, the celebration comprises of seven days of free to attend family events, culminating with a traditional procession on Saturday 30th July based on the theme ‘Past and Present’.

Headline sponsor, Box Broadband has been actively building its fibre optic networks in Surrey and Sussex with a growing customer case of residential and business users for its Full Fibre services.

Jay Wootten, Chairman of the Bexhill Carnival Committee said: “We are delighted to be back, and have been working since last year to try and find the financial support to run carnival week.

“We are grateful to our new headline sponsor and other co-sponsors who have supported us again to enable the week to go ahead. We are hoping loads of people will enter the procession this year, we have made the theme nice and easy! We also know it is the 1250th anniversary of the Bexhill Charter granted by King Offa in 772AD – some food for thought there!”
