Start time: 12:00 Annual show with 40 stalls, raffle, games, food vans and much more West Chiltington is holding its annual show on Saturday 13 July 2024 at the Recreation Ground. It starts at 12pm – 5pm. The West Chiltington Fete and Flower Show was founded in 1919 as part of the Peace Celebrations after the First World War. In 1939, the Second World War put an end to the event for a while, however it was restarted six years later as part of the village’s victory celebrations. The Show is organised by the community for the community. This year the Show is supporting 3 charities: Family Support Work: helping families who are struggling with issues such as poverty, ill health, learning difficulties, bereavement, family break-up and domestic abuse; Mary How Trust: health screening with a view to early detection and ABC Animal Sanctuary in West Chiltington. There will be competitions, raffle, games, 40 stalls, wine tasting, food vans, donkeys that need stroking, and more..
