Uckfield’s biggest free family festival celebrates its 10th anniversary edition this summer as Weald on the Field returns on Saturday 8th August 2026. Organised by Uckfield Town Council, the much-loved community festival will once again transform Luxford Field into a vibrant celebration of music, food and drink, and family entertainment. This year’s milestone event promises to be the biggest and most memorable edition yet, with over 1,000 visitors expected to enjoy a music line-up that features some of the best acts from the past decade. Since its launch in 2016, Weald on the Field has grown into one of the largest free family festivals in the region. Supporting local performers, businesses, charities, community groups and food producers, the festival has become a highlight of the Uckfield calendar and an important celebration of what makes the East Sussex town unique.
