Sussex LYT Productions & Lewes District Council are proud to present Walk The Chalk, flagship celebration amongst 10 national events to mark the launch of The King Charles III England Coast Path. 5 days of special arts & heritage events at South Hill Barn, Seaford Head Nature Reserve, Cuckmere Haven & the Seven Sisters. Learn about local flora and fauna, chalk, fossils, geology, history, folklore and the impact of climate change, through guided walks, talks, art exhibitions and performance. Free, bookable guided walks, led by trained volunteers. Free activities include geology and nature talks by representatives from Natural England and The National Trust; a Climate Crisis Debate chaired by Mayor of Lewes and Sussex Wildlife Trust Climate Lead, Cllr Matthew Bird; an in-depth Guided Climate Tour led by a Seven Sisters Ranger. Musical performances from The Copper Family, The Captain’s Beard, and Laura Ward & The Risen Road. Accessible tours by mobility scooter or buggy (pre-booking essential).
