Father, Marc Brunel, who built the first tunnel under the Thames,
Son, Isambard Kingdom Brunel, who built the Great Western Railway,
Grandson, Henry Brunel, who helped design Tower Bridge.
Bill McNaught, the Speaker, started work as a Westland Helicopters engineering apprentice, spending 25years with the Company, before moving to manage a number of other aviation/defence Companies. His talks are a result of extensive research; he includes as many pictures and film as possible. He particularly likes ‘fascinating historical characters’.
