Start time: 19:30 Join HSO for a round the world tour concert of Sibelius’ Nordic tunes to Rimsky-Korsakov’s Scheheraz Horsham Symphony Orchestra invites you to an enchanting concert at St Mary’s Church, Horsham, on Saturday 4 July, 7:30pm. The concert opens with a 2022 orchestral and brass fanfare Introit St John’s by Stephen Montague with an immersive percussion. Followed by Sibelius’ Symphony No. 6, a work of striking clarity and Nordic lyricism. The evening culminates in Rimsky-Korsakov’s Scheherazade transporting us to the Middle East through a vivid coloured symphonic suite inspired by folk tales from The Thousand and One Nights.
