Start time: 09:30 Animal-facilitated therapy for children facing social, emotional and mental health challenges. Therapy animals support children with anxiety, mental-health challenges and social / emotional needs, to develop the skills to overcome barriers and improve their daily-living and well-being. Week-long summer holiday therapy programme is designed and delivered by two highly specialist Occupational Therapists, and supported by OT university students. Group numbers are small (6), in order to ensure tailored and individualised therapeutic support. Through nurturing, trauma-informed approach, they support young people to overcome their barriers and achieve their goals.
