Start time: 19:00 Our July Meeting features professional woodturner, Jason Breach. Southdowns Woodturners is a friendly welcoming club, with the aim to promote & encourage woodturning as both craft & art. Our members come from Sussex & surrounding areas. Monthly meetings, last Wednesday of the month at 7pm consist of either a demonstration or a hands on practical session. We also run afternoon workshops which are ticketed event, ideal opportunity for members to get some tuition, advice & access to club lathes & tools. Beeding and Bramber Village Hall, BN44 3WN. In addition to demonstrations, we also run friendly competitions, lots of people available for informal chats, help and advice. Should you require tuition a number of tutors available for all levels. Also, a shop woodturning related supplies & timber, a raffle, free tea/coffee/ biscuits. Members benefits from use of a Toolbank, loan of a small lathe, a library of books & DVD’s.
