Event Short Description

A new multi-sensory exhibition of memories, reflections and the working heritage of Shoreham Port.

Event Information

Port Stories is a multi-sensory exhibition capturing the character and working heritage of Shoreham Port. Developed through creative workshops with artists Simon James, Luke Spencer, Heidi Compton, and Kathy Williams, the project bridges past and present.

Through sculpture, photography, animation, sound, and video projection, contemporary voices meet archival film from Screen Archive South East. Featuring contributions from Figment Arts Studio, young artists at Esteem, former workers, and residents from Fishersgate, Southwick, and Shoreham, this immersive installation weaves local memories and historical materials into unique narratives of daily life at the port.

Open 11am-3pm on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 13th August to 31st October 2026
