Start time: 09:00 Sussex nursery that normally operates behind closed glasshouse doors opens to the public for one day Plants4Presents is a family run Sussex nursery, run by mother-and-daughter duo Emily and Isobel Rae, based on Fletching Common, just outside Newick, specialising in sending beautifully wrapped plant gifts across the UK. Although thousands of plants leave our nursery every year, our glasshouses are normally closed to the public, so this is a rare opportunity for visitors to take a peek behind the scenes and see where our plants are nurtured, wrapped and prepared for delivery. Visitors can explore our glasshouses and browse our extensive range of exotic and unusual plants, edible and fruiting plants, Mediterranean plants, and large collection of citrus trees. We’ll also have extra large trees and plants available to purchase that are normally unavailable online because they are too large for courier delivery, along with special Open Day prices across our plant range.
