Event Information

Get ready for an exciting adventure this October half term as we launch the Nature Heroes Academy in collaboration with National Geographic Kids!

Earn a Seed Seeker badge!
Join our Nature Heroes, Pip, Bud and Sprout, and set off across the gardens, where young explorers will discover their inner scientist to earn the Seed Seeker badge! Seek, spy, spot and sense your way through interactive activities as you journey across Wakehurst’s woodlands to find a seed, just like Kew’s scientists do out in the wild!

Learn more about the fascinating world of seed science in the home of the Millennium Seed Bank – which houses 2.4 billion seeds from across the world!

The first mission of the Nature Heroes Academy, join us next October to earn the second Academy badge, and come back every school holiday for another fun Nature Heroes mission, earning a new badge for your Nature Heroes cape each time.
