West Sussex author Eve Ainsworth will be at Crawley Library for a free event celebrating the release of her first adult novel, Duckling.

Duckling, which is being released two days before the event, is a story of an isolated young woman and the importance of community, friendship and self-acceptance.

Eve will be at the library between 2.30pm and 4pm and will be discussing her new novel, the inspiration behind her writing and her career to date, followed by a chance to ask questions. A book sale and book signing will follow, and refreshments will be provided.

Eve is an award-winning and Carnegie nominated children’s author who was born and raised in Crawley, where she still resides.
