Start time: 19:30 Invicta Voices returns to Arundel Cathedral to perform Vaughan Williams’ The Lark Ascending. London based non-profit chamber choir Invicta Voices will perform, The Lark Ascending in Arundel Cathedral on Saturday 23rd September at 7:30pm. As well as the title piece composed by Vaughan Williams, the programme comprises several a cappella choral works and promises to be a wonderful evening. This is the second concert that the choir have performed in the cathedral, having performed there in May 2022. Proceeds from the concert will be donated to local charities; St Barnabas House and Chestnut Tree House. Every ticket comes with a complimentary glass of fizz. Musical Director, Matt Bamford commented “St Barnabas and Chestnut Tree House do incredible work and I’m delighted we are returning to support them again. The Lark Ascending feels particularly poignant given its significance of representing hope, often being played at many significant life events. Performing music is a passion for all of Invicta and we are delighted to bring choral music back to Arundel again.” Adult: £20 Child: Child Age Limit: Babes in arms are free.
