Five Oaks Cottage has an unconventional garden, designed to encourage maximum wildlife with a knapweed and hogweed meadow on clay attracting clouds of butterflies in July, plus two small ponds and lots of seating. The acre of delicate jungle surrounds an Arts and Crafts style cottage (not open) and has views of the South Downs. Admission is £5, children free.
