Start time: 18:00 A concert by gifted young musicians of charity Future Talent plus Emily Barden and Petworth Voices. A concert of two halves. First, some of the gifted young musicians that the Future Talent charity is helping to flourish. Then, after the interval, local a cappella choral group Petworth Voices – led by Emily Barden – interspersed with songs performed by Emily herself, who will have led the afternoon’s choral workshop in the Empire Hall. Future Talent was founded in 2004 by The Duchess of Kent and Nicholas Robinson, with the aims of enabling gifted young musicians from low-income backgrounds across the UK to flourish by offering programmes that provide unique opportunities for growing musicians to build confidence, develop personal skills, and enhance their musical experience.
