Start time: 16:15 A magical mile-long light art trail set in the magnificent grounds of the Cowdray Estate The grounds of the Cowdray Estate are set to shine as Light Up Trails return with a brand new outdoor light trail featuring new installations created by some of Europe’s most in-demand light artists and designers, alongside amazing food and drink completing a festive sensory feast. They also have special guest Santa this year. The unique light trail brings the magic of Christmas to Cowdray, the historic country estate in the heart of the South Downs National Park, and at its heart the atmospheric ruins of one of England’s most important Tudor homes favoured by both Henry VIII and Elizabeth I. Visitors wander through this landscape enjoying exclusive access to areas that usually remain private, including the otherworldly Cowdray woods to discover a series of large-scale installations illuminated against the night by millions of LEDs.
