Care UK’s Martlet Manor will open its doors to families and neighbours for a food festival, inviting guests to tuck in and celebrate the nation’s shared love of great cuisine, community and connection. It will be a foodie’s dream as its South African-themed barbecue offers up tasty treats, created by its very own South African chef. From 11am–4pm on Wednesday 12th August, the Haywards Heath care home will be a chance to tap your feet away to live family-friendly entertainment from Sing with Julie. Resident Phillippa Warner, 85, said: “I’m most excited for the South African themed barbecue so I can reminisce of the time I lived there.
