Start time: 19:30 Barney Norris & David Owen Norris – The Wellspring Petworth Festival welcomes the father and son pairing of David Owen Norris and Barney Norris, David being known for being a former Artistic Director of the Petworth Festival. In The Wellspring, novelist and dramatist Barney Norris conducts a conversation with his pianist and composer father on creativity, cultural identity, and how the two intertwine. The talk on this subject will be on the 3rd of November. In addition to being called ‘quite possibly the most interesting pianist in the world’ (Toronto Globe and Mail), Norris senior is a television and radio presenter who has worked with a range of musicians, conductors and composers in the concert hall and on the airwaves.
