Arundel has seen an awful lot in a thousand years: a royal feud, plague, civil war, smuggling gangs, and the rough and ready life of being a port town. Sussex historian, Chris Hare, will be sharing some of Arundel’s historical highs and lows in this illustrated talk. He will also be talking about the recent heritage projects he has been running with the Friends of the South Downs.
