There are various ways we offer to advertise with Sussex Local both in our magazines and on our digital channels, at affordable rates and to pinpoint your target audience without waste or duplication.
Sussex Local Magazine is published over eight different editions each month, each one covering a different area; Arundel, Barnham, Chichester, Findon, Midhurst/Petworth, Pulborough, Southwater and Storrington (and the surrounding villages).
This kind of advertising is ideal for trades and services. New categories can be created if they do not already exist. We have a straightforward and simple price – £11 per month per box 4.4cm x 3cm or a double size for just £22 per month. Prices are per edition, the minimum period is six month booking, and artwork design is included free of charge.
We offer a range of sizes from 1/8 of a page up to a full page, and rates start from just £30 per month per edition. See our ratecard for details.
We offer guaranteed premium positions for a supplement. Positions available are the back page, inside front cover, inside back cover or page 5. Double page spreads are also available with full bleed.
We will give you free editorial in conjunction if you book a 6 month advertising series. For example, if you were to book a 6 months series of full, half or quarter pages, then we would give you a free company profile editorial piece of the same size in one issue, usually the first or second of the series.
A summary of your release can appear in our Business Snippets section of the magazine. This will be a maximum of 50 words. This is chargeable, please see ratecard. Rate £25.
If you simply wish to use your article as direct advertising, then you are welcome to do so at our usual page rates, and you can then write as much about your business as you wish. The article needs to be set in a defined advertising style, rather than our own editorial style and this is subject to usual artwork charges, or you can supply your own. Rate as per ratecard.
It may be possible that your product or service is suitable for running a reader competition or sponsorship of a specific section, such as crossword or recipe. If this could be of interest, please ask for our competition guidelines. Sponsorship is available for the Crossword, Young People Puzzle Page and Recipe.
Banners go on each page of the website and link back to your website. £30 per month, minimum of 3 months.
Your release can appear in our Business News section of the website. Rate £50.
Your promotional release can appear in our Features section of the website, e.g. Gardening, Health & Beauty, Home Improvements. Rate £50.
We use your article as an editorial feature. In the magazine this must be an ongoing series of at least six months.
The article should be neutral in tone, and read as genuine unbiased information on general issues on your industry or sector. For example, a surveyor may write about different aspects of how to look after a property.
The article will be set in our editorial style and will have an editorial page heading (such as “Your Money“), and will have your credit at the end together with a telephone number and email address. We reserve the right to sell advertising for related businesses around the article to make a feature.
We will give you a discount on the space rate in recognition of this. The amount of discount will depend on the value we think the readers will place on the articles and also what other advertising we can attract around it.

The booking deadline is 1st of the month for the following month and the copy deadline is 4th of the month for the following month.
