Sussex pub chain offers no-strings free children’s meals this half term

Barr and Barrs Hospitality Ltd the company behind The Onslow Arms (Loxwood), The Wheatsheaf (Midhurst) in West Sussex (and The Silent Woman (Wareham) in Dorset) are taking action after the government voted against the meal voucher extension for those kids in need.

This half term they are offering a “No vouchers? No problem!” campaign, offering free children’s meals.

Operations Director Robert Barr comments “We feel as a local business we should take action and support our local communities and families.”

“Many restaurants up and down the UK are joining forces to help their local communities as a result, with the help of footballer Marcus Rashford, and our pubs will be joining them to support our communities”

They pubs invite you to visit during half term for children to enjoy a meal, courtesy of the pub. There is no requirement to purchase anything, although the meals will be from the children’s menu and availability will be subject to available capacity which, of course, is reduced due to COVID.
