For the Children With Cancer Fund (CWCF) 2018 was an amazing year. The official figures are in from the accountants for money raised in 2017-2018 and looking back over the last six years they have now hit the magical figure of ONE MILLION POUNDS. This has been raised and spent on the cancer families of East Sussex / Brighton & Hove.
Chris Downton (One of the Founders & Chairman) said: “Since being presented with the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Services in 2015, everyone has realised we are not here today and gone tomorrow, but determined to give our local cancer families the personal touch that they often need. The figures speak for themselves and we could not have done it without the support of many companies, groups and individuals. We are only a little charity based in Polegate but our aims are high and we would like to continue doing what we do and even do it better. With your continued support we will and can. Thank you very much from CWCF on behalf of all the families we support.”
