Start time: 19:00 Christmas stand-up with Shazia Mirza, Ben Van der Velde and Dan Evans, for Sussex MND associations. A Christmas night of stand-up comedy at Brighton College’s Cairns Theatre, with all profit going to Sussex MND associations, helping people live with Motor Neurone Disease. Headliner Shazia Mirza was named one of The Telegraph’s 50 defining comedians of the century, and has appeared on QI, Have I Got News for You and The Jonathan Ross Show. Ben Van der Velde has taken four shows to the Edinburgh Fringe and is “a master of audience interaction” (Huffington Post). Dan Evans has written for Frankie Boyle’s New World Order and The Very World of Milton Jones. Your compere is Anthony Ayton (“Highly intelligent” – Reginald D. Hunter). Doors 7pm, show starts 8pm. Under-18s must be accompanied by an adult.
