Bill Avenell is a retired Geography Teacher/Deputy Head at Christ’s Hospital School, Horsham, spanning 36 years and has a particular passion for Topography. In this talk, he takes a look at some iconic landscapes and features and examines them for their geographic origins, as well as human interventions, to determine whether although appearing to be “naturally” formed, they may have actually experienced “other” influences (… OR vice-versa?)
