Crawley Community Awards 2026, took place earlier this week at The Hawth with an inspiring evening of recognition and celebration.
Organised by Crawley Borough Council in association with The Hawth and the Crawley Observer, and supported by headline sponsor London Gatwick, the awards once again shone a spotlight on the remarkable individuals, groups and organisations who make Crawley a thriving, supportive and inspiring place to live.
The ceremony highlighted excellence across community life, recognising those who have gone above and beyond in areas such as volunteering, education, culture, sport and fundraising. Winners and nominees alike were applauded for their dedication, generosity and commitment to strengthening Crawley’s communities.

- Mayor’s Award, Charity – Kamila Kowalska
Councillor Sue Mullins, Cabinet member for Community Engagement and Culture at Crawley Borough Council, said: “The Crawley Community Awards are always a highlight of the year, and this year’s event was truly exceptional.
