Start time: 15:30 A Hailsham care home is opening its doors to the community to commemorate a special anniversary. Care UK’s Bowes House, on Battle Road, is welcoming local people to mark 82 years since D-Day. On the day, there will be live entertainment from the D Day Dollies, who will perform a selection of vintage tunes to get everyone dancing and celebrating the spirit of the 1940’s all dressed in authentic 1940s costumes! Guests will also be treated to delicious food and refreshments specially made by the home’s talented head chef, including tea and cake. Spaces are limited, so booking is essential.
