Start time: 10:00 Five Sussex artists exhibit ceramics, glass, jewellery, painting and photography at Crypt Gallery A collective of Sussex artists returns to Seaford with Form, Frame, Fire, a collaborative exhibition bringing together ceramics, glass, jewellery, painting and photography. Following a successful debut in 2025, four artists — Jan Beesley, Chris Schneider, Jayne Luscombe and Charlie Todman — present new work, joined by guest glass artist Julie Knight. The exhibition takes place at the Crypt Gallery, home to Sussex Contemporary Illustrators & Printmakers (SCIP), a community-focused organisation supporting accessible creative opportunities. The medieval undercroft and adjoining gallery provide a distinctive setting. Working across five mediums, the artists share an interest in material processes and landscape-inspired making. Julie Knight introduces glass using the copper-foil technique to create expressive, nature-inspired pieces. A Meet the Artist Day with refreshments on Saturday 23rd May offers a chance to talk to the artists.
