Firmly established on the Brighton running calendar and now in its 19th year, the 8K features a scenic run alongside Sussex’s famous chalk cliffs, from Saltdean towards Brighton and return back along the Undercliff path. It is RISE’s signature, annual fundraising event.
Our event village offers a help desk, toilets, baggage storage, food & drink and music to keep you motivated whilst during your run you will find supportive route marshals, water station, medics and chip timing. Lead bikes and tail walkers will be on hand to keep you safe and relaxed!
RISE is a feminist, women-led and centred domestic violence and abuse charity that has worked for 30+ years to end all forms of violence and abuse against women, their families and those identifying as LGBT+.
